The KHoding Hero 2023 was officially launched on 11 August 2023. Once all 80 Heroes had successfully completed their training. The KHoding Hero was launched to point the Heroes in the direction of the training operation. Sending KHoding Hero volunteer students to the training site and take place on August 14, 2023.
The KHoding Hero 2023 program is organized by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT). Collaboration with USAID Cambodia and the University of California, Berkeley (The Blum Center for Developing Economies). This program is to provide high school and secondary school students with essential teaching in order to close the information and communication technology (ICT) gap between urban and rural locations. The first location is at Maung Russey, Thmor Kol, Battambang province. And second location is at Mongkul Borey Svay Chek Banteay Meanchey province. After finishing this program volunteer students will gain valuable experiences and discover what it means to live in rural, remote, and other regions after completing the aforementioned training.
This program lasts for one month from August 14 to September 15, 2023.
